Valuation of homes, commercial units and land in Almería
A home valuation costs from €190 + VAT. Most fall between €190 and €450, depending on the property and what you need it for. In Almería published prices range from €150 to €1,100, with an average of €340. It is signed by an architect who is a qualified valuer. If it is for a mortgage, it is issued by Arquitasa, a valuation company approved by the Bank of Spain.
Commercial units, industrial buildings, building plots and rural land are quoted by floor area. Mortgage valuations follow Arquitasa's own fee scale.

What the regulations say
A valuation for an inheritance, a settlement, a sale or a court case can be signed by an architect. If it is security for a mortgage, it must be issued by a valuation company approved by the Bank of Spain, under Orden ECO/805/2003. Arquitasa, the valuation company founded by Spain's colleges of architects, has been approved since 1992 under number 4404.

Will the bank accept it?
For a mortgage, the valuation must be issued by a company approved by the Bank of Spain. We arrange it through Arquitasa, which is approved under number 4404.
